First prize is a mini home makeover of a day's professional design consultancy from renowned interior designer and blogger, Karen Knox of Making Spaces, plus £3,500 towards recommended home products and local tradespeople. There are also five runners up prizes of £100 homeware vouchers.
Karen, who is also the wife of a Police Officer says: "In many ways Police families are just the same as any other family. Reasons people tell me they don't make simple changes that can transform a room include: don't have time, too much stuff, my other half and I don't agree. But as the wife of a Police Officer, I also know how important it is to have a space to relax in after the pressures of the job.”
Claire Long, Head of Police Service Engagement says: “We appreciate how tough a career in the Police can be and the toll it can take on home life. We believe that a home enables us all to feel rooted, happy and relaxed and can be fundamental to a person’s well-being. If you are a member of the Police family, enter today, and please do spread the word to your colleagues as this really is a very special prize."
The prize draw is now open and runs until 21 July 2017.
