The Police Federation mortgage team has been provided with a fund of up to £10 million by one of the top UK building Societies. This money is only to be lent to serving or retired police officers who want a mortgage or remortgage of up to 85% loan to value.

The deal is for a market leading tracker mortgage and is at only 2.29% above Bank of England base. (This is only half what borrowers on a typical standard variable rate are paying).
